Ryker and his new camera

We got Ryker a cheep camera for his birthday in January. He didn't really show any interest in it until a few weeks ago. but being 2 he dropped it a few too many times and it wasn't really working, so I decided he could use our old digital camera that is just sitting around. Here are a few pictures that he took. I was quite impressed.

Summer is here.

I am so excited for summer. It's going to be a great one. It seems like we've got plans for every weekend, if there aren't plans, we are going camping. Just a few of the things we want to do this summer... the Michel family reunion, Magrath Triathlon (I'm swimming, Chris is biking, and a friend of ours, Barb, is running), Lethbridge Airshow, Fort Macleod triathlon (i'm doing this one all on my own, yikes!), cornfest, and lots of camping. we'll finnish summer off with a family vacation in september, though we're not sure yet what we're going to do. I've also got a pass to the pools in Lethbridge, so we'll spend lots of time at Henderson Pool (outdoor pool). We'll post lots of pictures of all the fun we have.

Oma and Opa

Oma and Opa (Chris' grandparents) came out for a visit...

First horseback ride of the season

Ryker wanted to go for a horse ride at Lola and Grandpa's house the other day. Grandpa put him up on Maggie and he went for a ride up the "mountain". He would have rode her all day if we let him.
The new foul is fun to watch. I named her "Pepsi". A few (ok, more than a few) years ago the Michel reunion was a horse camp. We all brought horses and set up camp then went out on day trips. There was a horse named CoCo. Someone asked one of the cousins which was their favorite horse, they answered "Pepsi", meaning CoCo (Coke). I guess you had to be there! Anyway, the new horse is the colour of Pepsi.

Kayla's Blessing

We decided to bless Kayla on Saturday, May 10th. We invited family and kept it simple. It was really nice to have family there to share in her special day.
